About Us
The Asia-Pacific International University Church provides services and religious guidance to members of the University community. We attend to the spiritual needs of the students, faculty, administrators & staff, and church members alike. We meet regularly and our ministry helps to create a community of believers and family-like bonds who can support one another.Â
Our ministry does offer to counsel those who are experiencing a crisis in faith. We also visit and pray for the sick in the dormitories, faculty housing, or hospitals. We also have fellowship and gatherings, and our team is more than happy to give a listening ear to anyone who needs a good cry or a good laugh.Â
In short, the  Asia-Pacific International University Church is about being around, being available, and being present. By giving the gift of presence, it is a symbol of the presence of, and the immediate availability of God in our lives. The AIU Church runs under the values and principles of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. “By this everyone will know that you are My disciples if you have love one another” (John 13:35).Â
Mission Statement
Our mission is to proclaim the everlasting gospel affirmed in the three angels’ messages (Rev 14:6-12), through personal witnessing, loving actions, compassionate service, and biblical preaching; thereby, leading all to become disciples of Jesus Christ, and to prepare the world for Christ’s soon return.
Vision Statement
Our vision is that every member will consistently demonstrate Christ-likeness in all their interactions and be ready for the coming of the Lord.

MEMBERSHIP
Thank you for considering the Asia-Pacific International University Church for your spiritual needs. Membership is an intentional step in the faith journey that signifies your commitment to following Jesus in the context of a specific congregation (what we sometimes call a “local expressions of the Body of Christ”).
You can join in one of three ways, as detailed below. Whatever path you choose, we hope you’ll join us when you feel the time is right. We’re here to assist you in settling in and becoming a part of our church.
(1) Baptism
Baptism, for Christians, is an expression of our willingness to follow Jesus and to take part in his life, death, and resurrection in a symbolic manner. With Baptism, we also make a commitment to join the church community and serve the world that God loves as part of the Body of Christ. A baptism is the official way for the church at AIU Church and the Seventh-day Adventist denomination to welcome you.
(2) Profession of Faith
One of the ways to join the AIU Church and the Seventh-day Adventist denomination is to make a Profession of Faith. A pastor will typically give a brief introduction to the newcomer during a worship service.
You can join Profession of Faith if any of the following applies to you:
First of all, you must be an already-converted Christian who has been baptized in another Christian communion and wish to join the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Your home church has failed to respond to a transfer request or your membership record has been misplaced, and you need a letter of transfer from your home church.
(3) Membership Transfer
A membership transfer can be requested through our church office if you are a member of another Seventh-day Adventist congregation and would like to make AIU Church your home church. The request is made by our office, and your previous church confirms your membership and authorizes the move. For those who have had trouble contacting their prior congregations and wish to rejoin us, making a Profession of Faith may be a viable option for you.
